I am one of the many illustrations to be included from Persoz' landmark 4 volumes of samples from 1846.
For several years I have been working on accumulating photographs and data in order to publish a comprehensive guide to identifying these often-baffling fabrics. My research has concluded with a Winterthur Research Fellowship for 2004-2005. I have signed a preliminary contract with Kent State University Press, and the manuscript is under review. The estimated year of publication is 2009-2010. |
